Cisco 1700シリーズをさらに発展させたサービス統合型ルータ、Cisco 1812Jです。

内蔵のDRAMは、128MB です。フラッシュメモリは、外付けのコンパクトフラッシュ(32MB)
となっています。

2ポートのFastEthernet　WANポート(10/100)、8ポート管理スイッチを備え、ISDN BRIポート、
AUXポート、コンソールポート、さらに 2つのUSB 2.0ポートと多彩なインターフェースを備えて
います。

SDM(Cisco Security Device Manager)のプリインストールされたモデルです。
ネットワークの初期設定をすると、GUIによる管理画面も使用可能となっています。

SDMは、Cisco技術者認定資格（CCENT,CCNA,CCNP）の出題範囲にも含まれているので、
設定の勉強などにいかがでしょうか。

無線LAN機能、PoE給電機能の無いモデルとなります。

32MBのCompactFLASHにはIOSのVersion 12.4(6)T2 がインストールされています。
設定を初期化しパスワードをクリアしました。すぐにでもお使い頂ける状態です。

小規模拠点におけるVPN構築などに最適です。
