NEC UNIVERGE IX2003 VPN対応高速ルータ　

NEC製の企業向けルータ UNIVEREGE IX2003です。
PPPoEによるブロードバンド回線接続やIPsecによるVPN構築が可能なビジネスルータです。
インタフェースは10/100BASE-TXが2ポートと、非常にシンプルですが、スループットは、PPPoE接続時でも、最大100Mbpsを実現し、ADSL回線やFTTH(光)回線に最適なルータです。
ついでに、IPv6にも一応対応しています。(IPv6環境で試したことが無いので、どんな感じなのか良く分かってませんが)

高速なルータというのは、搭載されるCPUが高速というのが一般論ですが、このルータはそのほかに、NEC独自の高速ルーティング処理がなされているようです。
また、オプションソフトウェアでIPsecの高速化が出来るようですが、それなら最初から標準搭載にして欲しいと考えてしまいます。
今回出品の商品には、これらのオプションソフトは搭載されていません。(残念)

出品にあたり、パスワードクリアと設定の初期化をしています。
Web設定画面などは用意されていない、非常に無骨な（？）ルータですが、VPNに対応した法人向けルータなのでとても安定しています。
設定は、シリアルケーブル(ストレート)で、設定用PCとルータを接続して、TeratermProなどで行います。

企業向けサービスを展開している大手ISPでも採用されたルータなので、中古でも安定したルータをお探しの方などにオススメです。

写真は流用していますが、外観にそれほど違いはありません。
細かな傷などはあるかもしれないので、その点はご了承願います。
